Our team had an incredible time at our recent team-building event — a much-needed break from our usual routines that allowed us to reconnect, recharge, and get creative together.
We started the day with a delicious lunch at Trattoria da Mimmo, where the chef and his team welcomed us warmly. From the flavour-packed pasta to the perfectly baked pizzas, every dish hit the spot. The citrusy and chocolatey desserts were the perfect sweet finish, energising us for the rest of the day.
Our next stop was White Pixies Studio, where we had a hands-on workshop in custom candle and reed diffuser making. The studio buzzed with excitement as we dived into scent blending, guided by friendly instructors. A guessing game followed where we tried to identify the fragrance combinations created by a selected member from the opposing team, which sparked plenty of laughs and friendly competition.
Then came candle-making, where everyone’s creativity shined. Some of us decided to make candles as a tribute to loved ones, coming up with thoughtful and eye-catching designs that reflected appreciation towards family and friends. Others embraced themes that showed their own personalities; drawing inspiration from favourite characters, preferred colour palettes or scents that held special meaning. The result was a diverse display of designs, each one telling its own unique story.
As everyone was new to decorating candles and reed diffusers, we really had fun. We left with more than just handcrafted candles and diffusers in our hands – we went home with fresh inspiration and a renewed sense of connection. These experiences remind us that at the heart of what we do is a team that grows, serves, and brings each other up. It was also wonderful reminder of how much we enjoy working (and playing) together.
